Bangus Steak: A 10-step Filipino dish for busy individuals

Have you tried scrolling through social media and running around the corner just to think about what to eat for lunch or dinner? In this blog, I will try to introduce you to one of the dishes I learned online. Bangus Steak, or simply fish steak. Bangus is a type of fish usually caught in the Philippines. However, in place of bangus, I would recommend tilapia or anything that is neutral tasting that can be fried like lapu lapu. The ingredients are as follows: 1 head onion 2-3 cloves garlic 2tsp oil for sauteing 2-4 tsp oil for frying 1 whole bangus cut into thin slices 2tbsp soy sauce 5pcs kalamansi 1. Chop the ingredients 2. Juice the kalamansi 3. Fry the bangus and set it aside. Use 2-4 tsp of oil for frying. 4. Caramelize all onions. 5. When the onions are caramelized, remove half of the onions. 6. Saute the garlic 7. Put back the bangus slices. 8. Put the kalamansi in the pan and let it simmer for a while 9. Put 2 tablespoon of soy sauce 10. Turn off the heat, plate it, top with the remaining onions(or scallions if you prefer), and enjoy your meal with rice.
